Shannon Fraser continues to inspire and empower persons with her book publications. Her new book The Discovery Of Me: A Journey of Becoming which was released on October 16th, 2023, discusses how God has brought her from the bosom of the beast to becoming the positive young woman that she is today.

Shannon who is still relishing in the success of her second book The Purpose in Your Pain said that she knew she had to tell more of her story.

“The Discovery of Me: A Journey To Becoming was written to break the yokes and shackles that our pain has caused us. In one of the chapters I discussed how my anger would have led me into places that I never wanted to be and to do life with God I needed to make some adjustments which included a new mindset. In the book I also discuss how my experiences with anger has made me more compassionate towards others as no-one wakes up and becomes angry there is always an underlying cause,” she said.

Shannon who is Christian and Mental Health Advocate who can be found on Instagram @shannonmfraser and on Facebook – Shannon Fraser said she wanted persons when they read her book to take away that God is a God of love.

“I want readers to understand that there is absolutely nothing too hard for God to do. It does not matter who you are, what you did or who you did it with. His love covers all. And if you give him all of your pain, he can make something beautiful out of it just as he did with me,” she said.

The book The Discovery of Me: A Journey Of Becoming was dedicated to her therapist, St. Clair Browne and her Grandmother, Janice Moore who passed away April 2023.

“When my grandmother passed it shook me to my core as I was in the process of finishing up the book and I was grieving but by God’s grace I made it. She always believed in me and supported me in all that I did. She has left so many gems in me especially teaching me how to fight for my dreams even when life gets painful. I think that that is the message that I want to share with the readers as well that inside of us lies a warrior it just takes the right circumstances for us to discover it” she said.

Shannon had some words of advice for aspiring authors which was to ‘Always trust God even when you cannot trace him’. (Write Right PR Services)
